Job Overview: Celestix Industries is seeking a highly organized Store Manager to oversee inventory operations for our custom wiring harness and component manufacturing facility. This role ensures real-time tracking, secure handling, and timely availability of parts to support production without disruption. You’ll coordinate closely with procurement, quality, and production teams to drive smooth warehouse operations aligned with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory Management
Maintain accurate records of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
Conduct routine stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Enforce FIFO/LIFO principles and monitor the shelf life of sensitive components.
2. Material Handling & Storage
Oversee correct storage of items such as wiring harnesses, connectors, terminals, cables, and injection molded parts.
Implement safe handling procedures and preventive storage measures to reduce material loss.
3. Receiving & Dispatch Operations
Supervise inbound material checks, quality inspections, and GRN creation.
Coordinate dispatches as per customer schedules and ensure all outgoing goods are properly documented.
4. Procurement Coordination
Work with purchasing and planning departments to maintain optimal stock levels.
Track minimum/maximum inventory thresholds and initiate reordering actions.
5. Warehouse Safety & Compliance
Ensure the warehouse follows all EHS and safety protocols.
Lead 5S implementation and promote lean inventory practices.
6. ERP & Documentation
Operate ERP systems for inventory updates, stock transfers, and reporting.
Maintain up-to-date documentation, including stock ledgers, issue slips, GRNs, and returns.
7. Team Leadership & Training
Manage store team scheduling, task delegation, and performance reviews.
Train warehouse staff in proper inventory handling, ERP usage, and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related fields.
4–6 years of experience in store management within a manufacturing setup, preferably wiring harness or electronics.
Proficiency with ERP systems and a strong understanding of inventory control techniques.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
