Job Overview: Celestix Industries is seeking a proactive and data-driven PPC Manager to lead our production planning and control processes for custom wiring harness manufacturing. This role is key to aligning production schedules with sales forecasts, optimizing resources, and ensuring on-time delivery without compromising efficiency or quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning & Coordination

• Develop production plans based on sales forecasts and actual order pipelines.

• Coordinate daily and long-term production schedules across sales, procurement, and shopfloor teams.

2. Material & Resource Planning

• Ensure timely procurement and availability of raw materials, terminals, connectors, and other components.

• Monitor inventory levels and liaise with suppliers to maintain just-in-time readiness.

3. Capacity Planning & Optimization

• Analyze machine load, manpower availability, and shift capacity to match production targets.

• Identify and mitigate production bottlenecks through tactical adjustments and resource leveling.

4. Scheduling & Workflow Management

• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules and update dynamically based on real-time needs.

• Track adherence to plan, resolve deviations, and escalate risks to ensure timely output.

5. Process Improvement & Efficiency

• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Just-in-Time (JIT), and 5S initiatives across planning and production areas.

• Lead efforts to reduce downtime, increase utilization, and improve throughput.

6. Cross-Functional Communication

• Act as liaison between planning, production, QA, maintenance, and logistics to ensure smooth execution.

• Align production planning with customer deadlines and industry standards.

7. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Track and report KPIs such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), production efficiency, and rejection/rework rates.

• Present production performance reports to senior management with improvement insights.

Qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech or relevant degree in Engineering, Operations, or Industrial Management.

• 5–7 years of experience in production planning for wiring harness or electronics manufacturing.

• Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and planning tools.

• Proven experience implementing Lean, JIT, and data-driven production systems.

• Excellent coordination, leadership, and analytical skills.
