Job Overview: Celestix Industries is hiring a strategic and experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement operations and vendor management for our custom wiring harness manufacturing. This role drives cost optimization, supply reliability, and quality assurance across our global and domestic sourcing networks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement & Sourcing

• Source wires, connectors, terminals, and key components as per BOM requirements.

• Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, reliability, and lead time.

• Negotiate contracts and ensure timely procurement to support production schedules.

2. Vendor & Supplier Management

• Develop a robust vendor base to mitigate single-source risk.

• Monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery, and responsiveness.

• Ensure supplier compliance with Celestix standards and regulatory frameworks.

3. Cost Optimization & Budget Control

• Track procurement spend and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Implement inventory optimization and reduce overstock situations.

• Collaborate with finance on procurement budgets, forecasts, and controls.

4. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination

• Coordinate with store, production, and logistics teams for timely stock availability.

• Enforce Just-in-Time (JIT) strategies and optimize lead time management.

• Monitor material flows to minimize delays or disruptions.

5. Quality Assurance & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure purchased materials meet defined specs and certifications (ISO, RoHS, IPC).

• Resolve supplier-related quality issues with support from QC and engineering.

• Maintain up-to-date compliance documentation for audits.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Align procurement strategy with production, R&D, and finance departments.

• Support new product development with sourcing of specialized materials.

• Communicate supply updates, risks, and alternatives effectively.

7. ERP & Procurement Documentation

• Maintain accurate ERP records of POs, contracts, and supplier data.

• Track procurement KPIs and generate reports on costs, trends, and supplier efficiency.

8. Risk Management & Market Awareness

• Identify supply chain risks and develop contingency plans.

• Resolve issues related to pricing, delivery delays, and non-conformance.

• Stay informed on global material trends and sourcing strategies.

Qualifications:

• B.E./MBA or equivalent degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Operations.

• 6–10 years of experience in strategic sourcing for wiring harness or electronics manufacturing.

• Expertise in contract negotiation, ERP procurement, and cost reduction strategies.

• Familiarity with standards like ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, and RoHS.

• Excellent supplier development, decision-making, and leadership skills.
